How to Claim

 

On the happening of an insured event the client shall report the claims via the national number 0861 10 17 10 to the call centre which will despatch a service provider (after an appointment was made), immediately or at the client’s convenience.

 

No paper work is needed, the whole conversation is voice-locked.

 

The client must provide the call centre with his ID number or policy number to identify him as the insured.

 

Only service providers that are appointed by Homecare will be allowed to render the required service.

 

If the client makes use of his own service provider, it will be for his own account.

 

The client is responsible to pay the excess of R280.00 directly to the service provider on completion of the service.

 

In the case of LCD and Plasma TV's, the excess will be 50% of the total claim in all cases.

 

The call centre personnel will keep the client up to date with the progress of the claim.
